Hanagokoro Shimbashi

A multi-purpose building with a retro atmosphere of Showa and a sense of Asian alleys. The massage store that Asian women call at the storefront is a healthy one, although it seems strange at first glance. There are many surprisingly delicious shops, and there are many conscientious shops with high cost in front of Shimbashi station.There are many shops with shutters closed at night, and whether there are different expressions during the day or not ...It is a chaotic place where the illusion that time has stopped is only in this building.

Thirty years ago, when I was on a business trip to Kasumigaseki, I always stopped by to adjust my time and eat. Each time, I was hooked on the fun of this building. At first it was an underground dining area. Japanese, western, medium and standing drinks were all available. Every time I visited, I saw many shops, lost shops and new shops, and felt the sorrow of the big city. The first and second floors were mixed from stores such as clothing stores, pharmacies, and shoe stores to pachinko parlors. The whole building looked like a museum full of Showa office workers' tastes. There is a deep Shimbashi in this building which is not in Higashi Shimbashi.    It has been several years since I retired, but if I have the opportunity to move to Tokyo, this is the place I want to visit first.

It is a ticket shop that often uses everything. There are many shops so you can compare and buy.There are plenty of restaurants, so it's a good idea to look around slowly.
